ROBERT SPENCE
FOUNDER
Spence's passion for strength began with the Olympic weight set he received for Christmas at just 9 years old. That gift led him to endeavor in many sports throughout his life, including football, wrestling, and rugby during high school. He then went on to play football at the collegiate level and rugby at the highest level in America.
Spence enlisted in the Army and served in a ground ambulance unit, serving overseas in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He took the opportunity of his time in military service to develop weight training programs for his fellow soldiers.
Following the military, Spence became an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and went on to earn degrees in Kinesiology and Human Performance at the University of North Texas. He earned an externship with one of the top strength and conditioning companies in the world, where he worked with professional athletes from multiple sports. He also completed an extensive mentorship program with leading strength and conditioning coaches in the MMA world.
Furthering his education and experience, he became a Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist. Robert partnered with patients in a clinical setting to improve their aerobic endurance and whole-body strength in order to enable those with a chronic disease (diabetes, obesity, heart disease, renal disease, pulmonary disease) to live life to the fullest and to achieve the most effective management of their disease.
Robert’s passion for strength and conditioning is present in his personal life as well, as he trains for and competes in strongman, powerlifting, and highland games where he holds multiple records.
His Coaching clientele is vast from Professional Strongmen, Professional Strongwomen, Record holding Powerlifters, Professional Fighters, to amateur and recreational strength athletes, and general gym goers.
